- Chandigarh, Sept 13 - Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Mr O.P. Dhankar today directed the officers to make 2,294 Gram Sachivalayas functional as an office so that video conference could soon be arranged there, to interact with Gram Sachivs and Sarpanches.
- The Minister was presiding over a review meeting of the Department, here today.
- He directed the officers to prepare a list of minimum ten adarsh villages where visitors from other states and abroad could visit.
- “We need to pick up fast pace to develop Adarsh Gram, only then we will be able to realize the dream of Gramodaya.
- Those present included Principal Secretary, Development and Panchayats, Mr. Sudhir Rajpal, Director, Mr Sanjay Joon and other officers.
