  • Chandigarh, Sept 17 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal laid foundation stones of various projects worth about Rs 8.60 crore at Karnal today.
  • These projects included widening of road from village Sandhir to Padhana at a cost of Rs 122.26 lakh, road from village Raipur to Pujam at a cost of Rs 131.29 lakh and road from Nidana to Purchase Centre Sagga at a cost of Rs 118.59 lakh. Apart from this, Kisan Bhawans would be constructed at Nissing at a cost of Rs 89.18 lakh and at Nigdhu at a cost of Rs 89.46 lakh. Similarly, bus stand would be constructed at Tarauri at a cost of Rs 3.07 crore.
  • On this occasion, the Chief Minister also laid foundation stones of buildings of Sharam Shakti Bhawan, Panchkula, Directorate Office, ESI Health Care, Haryana and ESI Dispensary Panchkula.
