- Chandigarh, July 20 : Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval for construction of nine roads amounting to Rs. 45 crore in different parts of the state.
- Giving details an official spokesperson said that a sum of Rs. 18.33 crore would be spent on construction of road from Bandhwadi dumping station, Gurugram to Damdama Tourist Complex.
- He said that in the first phase of Haryana Vision Zero Program, ten districts of the State have been adopted on priority for a Vision Zero approach to road safety. Under this program, the road from Murthal Chowk, Sonipat to Agarseen Chowk would be widened and beyond this grills would be fixed on the dividing of roads at a sum of Rs. 1.44 crore. In addition, 7.10 km road from Chaura village to barsat via Gharhi Khajur in district Karnal would be strengthened at a cost of Rs. 5.87 crore. In district Panchkula as per CM announcement, concrete road would be constructed from Naultha Jaithal to Village Kamli (Parwanoo) at a cost of Rs. 2.22. crore.
- He said that similarly, a new 4.20 km road would be constructed from Mukundpur Basai in district Rewari to Sahlawas at a sum of Rs. 4.02 crore. In Yamunagar road would be built from NH-4 to Sadhaura Kotla road at a sum of Rs. 5.43 crore. In district Mahendergarh, as per CM announcement, administrative approval has been given for construction of a road from Sohor to Bagaut at a sum of Rs. 2.48 crore. And from Pali to Jairpur via Railway Station at a sum of Rs. 2.14 crore. Similarly, in Jind road would be constructed from Haat to Gangoli at a cost of Rs. 3.21 crore, he added.
- Chandigarh, July 20- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will lay the foundation stone of 10 lane synthetic track costing Rs 8.02 crore in Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram on July 21, 2018.
- Giving this information today, an official spokesman said that the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) would be the executing authority of the project and it would be completed in six months time.
- Detailing on track, he said that a 400 m long running track of 10 lanes, each of 1.2m wide, synthetic athletic material and warm strip or running strip of 14 mm thick would be constructed on flexible pavement (confirming to the standard and norms of International Association of Athletics Federations IAAF). The synthetic track would get approved from IAAF where the international athletic meet could be held.
- He said that for other competitions equipment or facilities would also be installed including long and triple jump facility, water jump, javelin throw, discus and Hammer Throw, Pole vault, Shot put and High jump.
- The football ground situated in the middle of track would also be reconditioned by leveling, fresh grass would be re-laid and a world class sprinklers system would be installed with complete drainage. For other facilities, special repair is been carried out at the cost of Rs 1.56 crore in the stadium.
- The agency M/s Shiv Naresh Sports Pvt. Ltd. would maintain the track for seven years and would also facilitate the certificate from IAAF standards, he added.
- Chandigarh, July 20: The Tomb Complex having about seven tombs at Taroru, Nuh in district Haryana will be brought under State Protection.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded in principle approval to the proposal sent by Archaeological and Museum department.
- Giving details he said that the seven tombs located on way to Jhirka near Power House Touru are 14th-15th century AD old monuments and currently in deserted condition. The structures stand tall in the 4 acres complex and exhibit style ranging from Tuglaq to Mughal. The proximity to the seat of the empire ensured that the cultural and architectural influence of the capital was reflected in the life and buildings of this region. The area at present was under Power Grid of India.
- He said that the entire complex was never developed in a holistic manner and structures happened to be built one by one over time. Structurally, most monuments are in reasonable condition. However, time and vandalism has taken toll on facades and masonry walls.
- Chandigarh, July 20–The Haryana Government has decided that academic qualifications for future recruitment to the post of gram sachiv would be graduation instead of matric. Apart from this, the candidate should have diploma in panchayati raj and knowledge of IT.
- A decision to this effect was taken at a review meeting of different schemes held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, here, today. Development and Panchayats Minister, Mr. O.P. Dhankar, was also present at the meeting.
- The Chief Minister said the number of posts of gram sachiv would also be increased. At present, there are about 2,200 gram sachiv whereas there are more than 6,000 village panchayats in the state. There should be one gram sachiv for one big panchayat and one gram sachiv for two small panchayats.
- There are 2,294 clusters in the state under which 1,783 gram sachivalyas have been set up and are functional and funds have been allocated to 511. Classification of gram sachivalyas should be done to know their actual area and the facilities required in that area. Accordingly, development of gram sachivalyas should be carried out.
- Mr. Manohar Lal said gram sachivalyas should be established on at least half an acre of land and it should have provision of a library.
- The Chief Minister directed officers to prepare data of all the 2,294 clusters. A chowkidar should be deputed in each gram sachivalya and block development and panchayat officer should visit the gram sachivalya being set up in his area and inspect the work.
- Mr. Manohar Lal said approval had been given for opening 820 vyayamshalas in the state out of which 440 are ready and work is in progress on 220. He directed the officers to prepare data of vyayamshalas which have been completed, and, of those which are under progress.
- The meeting was informed that recruitment of 1,000 yoga teachers will be done; 250 have already been appointed and applications have been invited for the remaining 750 posts. Draft of the Inter-District Council has been prepared and it would include chairman of all district councils, chairman of block samitis and mayors of municipal councils. Apart from this, ministers would also be included in the council and notification in this regard would be issued soon.
