- Chandigarh, September 21- International Folk Festival, a cultural exchange programme will be organised in Haryana at Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula on September 27. The festival will be participated by around 400 artists from various countries of Asia and Europe who will perform folk dances of their respective countries, besides Dhamaal and folk songs by artists of Haryana.
- While giving this information, a spokesman of Arts and Cultural Affairs Department said that this program would start at 5 pm and conclude at 8 pm. This program is being organized by the State Government in co-ordination with the Department of Arts and Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh University and Rhythm Group.
- He said that the participants of the programme included Artists, male and female folk dancers from many countries including Germany, China, Brazil, Russia, Italy, South Korea, South Africa, Ukraine, Thailand, Turkey, Colombia, Singapore, and Czech Republic. During this program, National Award winning folk dance of Haryana, Dhamaal would also be performed.
