  • Chandigarh, Dec 24- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today congratulated Salman Ali of Mewat on winning the Indian Idol 10 and making the state proud. He also extended best wishes for his bright future.  
  • The Chief Minister said, “Salman Ali has proved that the state is moving on a faster pace in all fields, be it sports, art or education.”
  • He also congratulated the family of Salman Ali.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that State Government has been rapidly implementing the schemes for doubling the income of farmers and it has prepared a scheme for constructing pucca tracks towards farm fields to facilitate the farmers. This year, 25 kilometre tracks in each assembly constituency would be made pucca with bricks and in the ensuing financial year, 100 kilometres such tracks in each assembly constituency would be made pucca.
  • The Chief Minister was speaking at a public meeting at village Chaurmastpur in district Ambala today. Earlier, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various projects worth Rs 100 crore.
  • He said that economic security has been provided to farmers through Fasal Bima Yojana. He urged the farmers to avail maximum benefit of this scheme because the insurance companies pay more compensation in case of any damage caused to crops due to natural calamities.
  • The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of previous governments, there was corruption in all government works such as granting CLUs, transfers and granting licences to builders. He said that the present State Government has put a check on corruption at all levels. He said that as per the survey conducted by a private organization, there was 51 per cent corruption in the state in 2014 which has reduced to 19 per cent in 2018. He said that the State Government would also eliminate this 19 per cent remaining corruption with the assistance of people. He said that the present State Government has accelerated the pace of development and as compare to 61,000 crore budget of 2014, this year’s budget was Rs one lakh fifteen thousand crores. Apart from this, about Rs 35 to 40 crore was saved by putting a check on corruption which has been utilized for development works.
  • Mr. Manohar Lal said that people of the state have supported the politics of development and ensured victory of BJP candidates to the post of Mayor in five Municipal Corporations in the recent MC elections. Now, the era of nepotism, regionalism has come to end and people have been supporting politics of development.
  • He said that unprecedent improvement has been done in the health services across the state. He said that better health services are being provided at both rural and urban areas. About 15.50 lakh poor and needy families of the state are being provided free of cost treatment facility up to Rs five lakh under Ayushmaan Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. On this occasion, he distributed e-Golden Cards to five beneficiaries of district Ambala under Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana and said that such cards have so far been distributed 12,000 families in the district.
  • During the public meeting, the Chief Minister asked the gathering whether they have availed benefit of Ujjwala Yojana to which five women replied that they have not received LPG connection. On this, the Chief Minister directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner to issue LPG connections to these women within 48 hours. He said that under ‘Shivdham Navinikaran Yojana’, all cremation grounds and graveyards would get facilities such as roads, boundary walls, drinking water and sheds within next three months.
  • Member of Parliament, Mr. Rattan Lal Kataria, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr. Nayab Singh and MLA, Mr. Aseem Goyal also spoke on this occasion.

  • Chandigarh, Dec 24– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that governments can work for providing better transport network and other infrastructural facilities for convience of the people, however only voluntary organization can came forward and contribute for the upliftment of the society.
  • The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering at 10th 'Parivarik Sneh Milan Samaroh' organised by Multan Sabha at Sirsa today. On the demand of the Sabha, he announced to name one chowk in the city after Mehta Chowk. He also announced to give Rs 31 lakh to the Sabha.
  • He said that such events allow a person to express his views and people come together to deliberate for uplift of the society. The aim of such events is to eliminate social evils such as drugs and dowry system from the society and make the coming generations cultured. A person alone cannot do anything, the character building of society can be done by coming together, he added.
  • Mr. Manohar Lal said that he has never though that he would become chief minister and after getting the seat, he had never thought of profit or loss. He said that he gets contentment by serving people. He considers the people of the state as his family members and works for their welfare.
  • He said that the State Government has implemented transparency in giving jobs to youth and build faith among people. Earlier, jobs were distributed, but now jobs are given on merit basis.
  • On this occasion, he honoured the students who gave cultural presentation.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today heard the grievances of people of Sirsa and issued on the spot directions to the officers and officials concerned to redress their grievances without any delay.
  • Mr. Manohar Lal directed the officers to release water in Mangla Minor to facilitate the farmers. He also directed the officers to ensure reach of water to tail end in canals of the district so the farmers would get water for irrigation.
  • Later, the Chief Minister visited village Jeevan Nagar Dera of the district and paid obeisance at Gurudwara.
  • Later, he visited Dera of Mastgarh and interacted with people there and heard their grievances. During his visit, he stopped at village Ottu and heard the grievances of people. The Sarpanch of village Ottu and other villagers raised various demands such as upgrading status of Government High School to ten plus two, construction of vyayamshalas, ensuring drinking water through canal based water works.
  • The Chief Minister sympathetically heard the demands and ensured proper redressal. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also interacted with people at Lehranwali Dhani and heard their grievances.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24– Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr. O.P. Dhankar has expressed grief over the loss of life in a road accident that took place at Badli bypass road in Jhajjar today.
  • Mr. Dhankar immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital after getting information of the road accident. As many as eight persons including seven women and one man have died in this accident and ten persons were injured including three women and seven men. All the deceased persons belonged to village Kirdod of Jhajjar.
  • Mr. Dhankhar prayed the Almighty that the departed souls might rest in peace and give strength to the bereaved families to bear irreparable loss. He also wished speedy recovery of the injured persons. The Minister announced to give Rs two lakh to the family members of deceased, Rs one lakh to severely injured and Rs 50,000 each to injured persons.
  • The Minister directed the officers in the hospital to make proper treatment arrangements of the injured persons. The Minister also visited PGIMS, Rohtak and inquired about the well being of severely injured persons.
  • Later, Mr. Dhankar visited village Kirdod and participated in the ‘Antim Yatra’. He expressed condolences to bereaved family members and said that the State Government is with them in time of need.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 – On the occasion of Good Governance Day on December 25, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will launch over 425 schemes and services on Antyodaya Saral portal and on the day, 115 Antyodaya Saral Kendras will be made operational across 22 districts. Thus, Haryana will become the first state to provide as many services and schemes online on a single portal.
  • While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that the state government has taken extraordinary steps to make service delivery to citizens hassle-free because of which citizens do not have to go to different department offices anymore to avail schemes and services given by central and state government.
  • Through Antyodaya Saral portal, a citizen can apply for these services and schemes from the comfort of his home. To apply for these services and schemes, a citizen can also visit Antyodaya Saral government centres where he or she can avail these services easily. The aim of this project is to ensure that the citizen service delivery becomes effective, easy and corruption-free so that the citizen does not have to depend upon agents and middlemen to get benefits.
  • Along with this, the Chief Minister would also launch the citizen helpline number and IVRS feedback system by making a call himself. He would also launch the Dashboard website as well as mobile app and would review the performance of all departments. To make these over 425 services and schemes available in over 6000 villages too, the Chief Minister would launch these for Atal Seva Kendras as well.
  • He said that through video conferencing, the Deputy Speaker, Mrs Santosh Yadav would join the Chief Minister in the inauguration of Antodaya Saral Project in district Mahendragarh. Similarly,  the Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma would join the video conferencing in district Gurugram, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr O. P. Dhankar in district Jhajjar, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu in district Hisar, Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij in district Ambala, Public Works Minister, Rao Narbir Singh in district Rewari, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs Kavita Jain in district Sonepat, Transport Minister, Mr Krishan Lal Panwar in district Panipat and Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr Vipul Goel in district Faridabad.
  • The Minister of Cooperation, Mr Manish Kumar Grover would  inaugurate the project in district Rohtak, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi in district, Kurukshetra, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr Karan Dev Kamboj in district Yamunanagar, Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Dr. Banwari Lal in district Charkhi Dadri, MP, Mr Dharamveer in district Bhiwani, MLA, Mr Subhash Barala in district Fatehabad, MLA, Mrs Seema Trikha in district Palwal, MLA, Mr Bakhshish Singh Virk in district Jind, MLA, Mr Gian Chand Gupta in district Panchkula, MLA, Mr Kamal Gupta in district Sirsa, MLA, Mr Raisa Khan in district Nuh and MLA, Mr Shyam Singh Rana in district Kaithal.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 - Haryana Urdu Akademi, Panchkula will organize Ru-Ba-Ru programme on December 27 at PWD building sector-19 to pay tributes to former Prime Minister, Late Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his Birth Anniversary. The programme will be participated by renowned litterateurs of Urdu.
  • While giving this information, Vice-Chairman of Akademi, Dr Chander Trikha said that Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Languages, Mr Rajesh Khullar would be the chief guest and Director General of the Department, Mr Sameer Pal Srow would also be present.
  • He said that Urdu Litterateurs like Chairman, Kendriya Sahitya Akademi, Urdu Language Advisory Committee, Janab Sheen Kaaf Nizam, Mr Madhav Kaushik, Dr. Kumar Panipati, Dr. K.K. Rishi, Mahendra Pratap Chand, Sultan Anjum Shams Tabrezi would pay tributes through their presentation. Besides Urdu Litterateurs, other Litterateurs of tricity would also be present.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 – The Central Government would spend about Rs 11 crore on public utilities at Gurudwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula.
  • While stating this here today, Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Tourism Department, Mr. Vijai Virdhan said that the Union Ministry of Tourism has in principle accepted a concept proposal for about Rs. 10.99 crore for the development of Gurudwara Nada Sahib. This decision and innovative plans for the development of the Gurudwara will meet the concerns and demands of the Gurudwara and the pilgrims visiting it. These facilities will not only facilitate devotees, but in the long run help maintain the Gurudwara and its infrastructure.
  • One majestic entrance gate would be constructed at the Gurudwara. Development works of the Gurudwara would include multi-level parking, toilet blocks, surface level parking, dustbins, benches for the visitors, safety features like CCTV cameras and improving modern Sewerage Treatment Plant facility
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 – In view of growing fog these days, Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh has appealed to the people to drive their vehicle carefully and in a controlled speed. While passing through National Highways, be watchful about traffic signals, radium boards, iron bars and cat eye.
  • In a statement issued here today, Rao Narbir said that besides the passengers, the locals should also come forward to help any accident victim. One hour after any accident is considered a golden period when life of any injured could be saved by taking them timely to hospital.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 – Effecting the biggest ever seizure of heroin this year, Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police have arrested a Nigerian national from DLF, Gurugram and recovered 3 kg 200 gram heroin from his possession. The value of seized drug in international market is around Rs 12 crore.
  • Stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that arrested accused has been identified as Taraour Ahmed, a resident of Nigeria. Currently residing in Delhi, he was arrested following a tip-off by a team of STF Hisar from Sikandarpur Metro Station area in Gurugram.
  • Divulging the details about seizure, he said that a STF team, which was present in Gurugram, got secret information about drug smuggling. On getting information, police team immediately rushed at Sikandarpur metro station, DLF-2 area where it spotted a suspicious person with scooty at a street in front of metro station gate. After seeing police, accused suddenly started scooty in a hurry. Police team immediately nabbed him. When searched, 3 kg 200 gram heroin was recovered from his possession hidden in scooty.
  • A case under relevant sections of NDPS Act was registered against him at DLF-2 Police Station, Gurugram. The Accused would be taken on police remand by producing him in the Court so that name of supplier involved in this racket of drug peddling could be unearthed.
  • Meanwhile, Director General of Police (DGP), Mr B. S. Sandhu appreciated DIG STF, Mr Sateesh Balan and his team for intensifying efforts to crackdown on drug-peddlers and criminals in the state.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 – Haryana Minister of State for Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the state government has revised the limit of annual family income to Rs 3 lakh for availing of loan throughHaryana Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation, for self-employment.
  • In a statement released here today, the Minister said that the existing policy of annual income in urban and rural areas has been revised. According to the revised policy, the previous annual family income limit of Rs 98,000 for rural areas and Rs 1,20,000 for urban areas has been revised to up to Rs 3 lakh for both rural and urban areas.
  • He said that the corporation would provide at least 50 per cent of funding to the beneficiaries having annual family income up to Rs 1.50 lakh and the remaining 50 per cent funding to the beneficiaries having annual family income above Rs 1.50 lakh and up to Rs 3 lakh.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 24 – Haryana Development and Panchayats Department has decided  to effect online transfer among the Gram Sachivs and Junior Engineers.
  • While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the Gram Sachivs and Junior Engineers would submit their options with regard to transfer on online link to be created by HKCL. Transfers would be effected keeping in view their respective merits and options, he added.
  • He said that the login credentials would be given to the employees by December 27, 2018. The employees would submit their consent online on HRMS data by January 1, 2019 and the employees would voluntary participate in transfer by January 4. He said that the transfer preference would be opened for employees by January 10. The provisional allocation would be made by January 13 and actual allocation would be made by January 20, 2019.
