- Chandigarh, June 25 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has directed that all bills raised by the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran and all Boards, Corporations and Municipalities should be issued both in English and Hindi languages from August 1, 2018.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that it had been observed that despite Hindi being the official language of the state, the bills of electricity, water, sewerage and house tax were being issued to the consumers in English. Therefore, it has been decided that bills are not to be issued in Hindi alone and these would be issued both in English and Hindi languages.
- Chandigarh, June 25- For strengthening the road network of three districts namely Rewari, Gurugram and Sonipat, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded in-principle approval for taking up the improvement or construction of roads in these districts having a total length of 136.68 kms under the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) loan assistance. NCRPB, New Delhi provides loan assistance for infrastructure projects in the National Capital Region.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister has also accorded administrative approval of Rs 40 lakh for the preparation of Detailed Project Reports of these road projects through approved consultants by inviting competitive online biddings.
- He said that the roads of Rewari and Gurugram circle to be taken up for improvement or construction under NCRPB loan assistance included Rewari-Shahjanpur road having length of 21 kms, Rewari-Bawal road having length of 9.31 kms, Rewari-Bawal road of 1.75 kms and Kund-Khol-Mandola road of 18.82 kms in district Rewari, Tauru-Sarai road upto Kota Khandewala having length of 12.20 kms, Punhana-Shikrawa road of 9.83 kms, Gohana-Shikrawa road of 11.87 kms and Punhana-Kot road of 11.30 kms in district Nuh, new road from Gurugram-Faridabad road from Bandhwari Damping Station to Damdama Tourist Complex, Sohna of 15.7 kms and widening and strengthening of Wazirpur Farrukhnagar road of 7.60 kms.
- The spokesman said that similarly, the road in Sonipat circle which would be taken up for widening and strengthening under NCRPB loan assistance included road from Sonipat to Ganaur via Kami Lalheri in district Sonipat.
