- Chandigarh, Aug 29 – Haryana Government has extended the temporary recognition and approval of 3,200 private schools in the state till the completion of current academic session, that is, up to March 31, 2019.
- A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma with office-bearers of Private School Sangh, here today.
- The Minister said that the case of extending temporary recognition and approval of about 3200 private schools was pending for long and after today’s meeting, it has been decided to extend the temporary recognition and approval till March 31, 2019.
- Others present in the meeting included Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, Mrs. Dheera Khandelwal, Director, Secondary Education Department, Mr. Rajiv Rattan, Director, Elementary Education Department, Mr. Rajnarayan Kaushik, Chairman, Haryana Housing Cooperative Federation, Mr. Jogiram Sihag, State President, Private School Sangh, Mr. Satyavan Kundu, Vice-President, Mr. Sanjay Datarwal, Mr. Narender Sethi, Mr. Ishwar Insan, Mr. Ajay Khundiya, Mr. Sadhuram Jakhar, Mr. Ravi Bishnoi, Mr. Suresh, Mr. Ajit Yadav, Mr. Mahavir Singh and others.
