- Chandigarh, Sept 3 – Haryana Women and Child Development Department has invited applications to fill up the posts of Chairperson (Child Welfare Committee), Member (Child Welfare Committee) and Member (Juvenile Justice Board) in various districts of the state. The willing candidates may send or submit their application forms on the prescribed format along-with all supporting documents in the office of concerned District Programme Officer, Women and Child Development on or before September 20, 2018 till 5 p.m.
- While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the post of Chairperson (Child Welfare Committee) are for districts Rewari, Sirsa, Narnaul, Faridabad, Karnal, Panipat and Dadri. He said that the one post of Member (Child Welfare Committee) is for district Yamunanagar, four posts including one for female for district Faridabad, one post each for districts Sirsa and Panipat, four posts including one for female for district Dadri, two posts for district Bhiwani, three posts for district Fatehabad, one post only for female for district Hisar, one post only for female for district Jhajjar, one post for district Kaithal, two posts for district Karnal, one post each for district Mewat and Gurugram, and three posts for district Rewari. He said that one post of Member (Juvenile Justice Board) is only for female for district Kaithal, one post only for female for district Mewat, one post only for female for district Hisar and two posts including one post for female is for district Dadri.
- The Member (Juvenile Justice Board) should have minimum seven years experience of working with children in the field of education, health, or welfare activities or should be a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology or psychiatry or sociology or in the field of law. Similarly, the Chairperson or Member of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) should have seven years of experience of working with children in the field of education, health or welfare activities, or should be a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology or psychiatry or social work or sociology or human development or in the field of law or a retired judicial officer.
- The spokesman said that the application must not be less than 35 years of age. The tenure of these posts would be three years. Member of the Board on Chairperson or Member of CWC would be paid as per sitting which would include sitting allowance, travel allowance and any other allowance, as the State Government may prescribe.
- He said that the applicant must have a domicile of Haryana. The applicant will maintain his or her headquarter as the presence is required even at odd hours or on short notice and the appointment will be cancelled if headquarter is not maintained. He said that direct application received at headquarters of Women and Child Development, and incomplete application form in any manner, will be rejected. The prescribed application performa may be downloaded from the departmental website www.wcdhry.gov.in, he added.
