- Chandigarh, Jan 30 – Heading towards a digital era, Haryana Government has decided to revamp all its e-disha centres in the state and convert these as Antyodaya SARAL Kendra (ASK) equipped with state of the art facilities. While ASKs are being revamped at all subdivisions in the state, state of the art ASKs shall also be setup at tehsil level. More than 300 services will be provided in these Centres. All kinds of Antyodaya services, schemes meant for weaker sections and targeted groups will be available under one roof.
- This was decided in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal here.
- With the new facilities, Antyodaya Sewa Melas would also be organized at tehsil level in the state to ensure greater reach of citizen centric services being rendered by different departments. All these services would be launched on April 14, 2018.
- The Chief Minister asked the officers to review different welfare schemes of the government and connect these department-wise so as to ensure their better implementation. Apart from this, a nodal officer should also be designated to put into operation all the targeted schemes and services under ASKs.
- It was informed in the meeting that all ASKs (e-disha centres) were being revamped in the state so that SARAL could be implemented for the benefit of common citizen in a better way. SARAL is being piloted in five ASKs. This will not only provide a hassle-free delivery of services, but will also help to check corruption in governance.
- Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi, Principal OSD to Chief Minister, Mr Neeraj Daftuar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr Rakesh Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Mr P. Raghvendra Rao, Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Anil Kumar and OSD to Chief Minister, Mr Amarjit Singh were also present in the meeting.
