- Chandigarh, September 5- Haryana Government has designated one Deputy Secretary and five Under Secretaries as State Public Information Officers (SPIOs) for the purpose of Right to Information Act, 2005 and Rules made there-under.
- While giving this information, an official spokesman said that Deputy Secretary Administration has been designated SPIO for Services-I and II Branches and PAR Cell, while Under Secretary, Services III for Services-III and IV Branches, Under Secretary, Vigilance for Vigilance-I and II Branches, Under Secretary, Political for Political Branch, Under Secretary, Cabinet for Cabinet Branch and Under Secretary, Training for Training Branch.
- He said that the state government has also designated Secretary, Personnel, Training, Vigilance and Parliamentary Affairs Departments as First Appellate Authority of Right to Information Act, 2005 and Rules made there under in respect of offices or branches.
