  • Chandigarh, Sept 8- On the occasion of 50th foundation day and golden jubilee of Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani, the Haryana Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma today announced to give one special increment to all officers and officials of the Board. Apart from this, he also announced to establish a multipurpose hall after the name of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna late Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the Board premises at a cost of Rs 50 crore.
  • Mr Sharma said that the stories of martyrs of Rohnat who sacrificed their lives during freedom struggle would be added to the syllabus. He said that the state government has been making concerted efforts to further improve the quality and level of education in the state.
  • He said that shortage of money would not be an issue in the education of talented poor students. For this, the state government has created a fund of Rs ten crore.
  • Chairman of the Board, Dr Jagbir Singh also spoke on this occasion.
  • On this occasion, the employees of the Board announced to donate Rs 4.21 lakh towards Kerala flood relief.
