Chandigarh, November 3- To tackle the on-going pollution problem in Faridabad, the district administration will spray water on trees and along with this the administration will also be taking necessary measures to reduce pollution levels. Apart from this, the cleanliness system in the city will also be improved.
The Union Minister of State for Social Justices and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar, shared this information during the foundation laying program of the renovation work of dividing road of Sector-10 and Sector-11, held today. MLA, Mr. Narendra Gupta, was also present on the occasion.
He said that an amount of Rs 5 crore 30 lakhs will be spent on the renovation work. The length of the new road will be 1.5 kilometres an 44 feet wide. The road will be made with RMC. The width of the road on both sides will be 22- 22 feet. While, LED street lights worth Rs 35 lakh will be installed in the middle of the road, for which a central area of about two and a half feet will also be made.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Krishan Pal Gurjar, while praising Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, said that this is the second term of the State government and while the Government is yet to form the new Cabinet completely, the development work in Faridabad Assembly constituency has already started.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, everyone should endeavor to ensure the overall development of Faridabad. He said that no stone will be left unturned in working for the overall progress of the city.
Meanwhile, MLA, Mr. Narendra Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
