Chandigarh, October 29 – Taking a step towards pollution Control, the Haryana government is going to launch a 50 percent subsidy scheme for the farmers to decompose the paddy straw in the fields.
Sharing more details, Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, while interacting with the media persons at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi, said that the State Government is actively working in the direction of motivating farmers to decompose the paddy straw and paddy crop in the fields using the disinfected medicine and for this, the government has planned to provide 50 percent subsidy to the farmers.
He said that this scheme will certainly help in controlling paddy straw and paddy crop burning in the fields. With this, decomposing paddy straw and paddy crop in the fields itself will also help the farmers to get compost for their fields, he added.
Meanwhile, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Dushyant Chautala was also present during the interaction with the media.
