Chandigarh, Aug 18- Union Defence Minister, Mr Rajnath Singh said that now if talks are held with Pakistan, it would only be held on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The Union Defence Minister was addressing the people at the inaugural ceremony of Jan Aashirwad Yatra to be carried out in 90 assembly constituencies of the State, in Kalka near here today. Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal was also present on the occasion.
He said that Pakistan intends to destabilise but we would not let this happen. Now talks would only be held on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Our Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi has given befitting reply to Pakistan on Pulwama attack. Talks with Pakistan would only be held if it stops supporting terrorism, he added.
He said that Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr Imran Khan had quoted that India is planning for a big airstrike than airstrike happened at Balakot. He said that this has made clear that India had made a strong airstrike at Balakot. He said that the opposition party was making lot of ruckus about Rafale deal but they did not do anything to take Rafale and now Rafale would soon be in the Army of the country. And, we would not have to send our brave soldiers for strikes like Balakot.
He said that Article 370 and 35A have been revoked from Jammu and Kashmir. He said that on Kashmir issue, Pakistan had been visiting various countries. But Pakistan has been asked to convene talks with India, on this issue.
After this, the Union Defence Minister, Mr Rajnath Singh, in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, flagged off the Jan Aashirwad Yatra, which is starting from Kalka today and concluding at Rohtak on September 8,2019.
