Chandigarh, June 23 – While taking yet another step towards further improving health care facilities in the State, in view of COVID-19 Pandemic, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval for engaging 110 Technical Apprentices of Pharmacist at all 22 District Civil Hospitals in the State.

Giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that five Technical Apprentices Pharmacy per district hospital would be engaged under the Apprentices Act 1961 from the National Apprenticeship Training Program (NATP).

He said that under the Apprentices Act 1961, a monthly stipend of Rs. 8000 per technical apprentice is given out of which reimbursement at the rate of Rs. 1500 per month per apprentice is made by the Central Government.

He said that there are four Boards of Apprentices Training for the entire country at Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Kanpur. The Central Office of Northern Region is at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
